Work by Davey is about one simple truth: you can’t run from what you’re meant to do.
I tried to take the “normal” path—college, regular jobs, playing by the rules—but how could I turn off my interests? How could I unsee the way I process the world? I just can’t shake this dreaming, no matter how hard I tried to fit into something smaller.
That tension shaped me. I worked long days in outdoor jobs, carried uncertainty about where I belonged, and wondered if there was a place for someone like me. But creativity never let me go. Whether it was picking up a camera, experimenting with editing, or breaking down how films and music made me feel, I realized I wasn’t just making content—I was finding my language.
Work by Davey grew out of that pursuit. It represents resilience, independence, and the refusal to mute the very thing that makes me who I am. This studio is where my lived reality and my vision come together—a space to turn raw life into meaningful visuals that connect people to their own stories.
